A big “Hello” to all Uncle Bobs!
Down here on the Mornington Peninsula we have just conducted our Annual Meeting. The evening began for many of our members with fellowship and a great meal at the Rosebud Hotel. The Rosebud Hotel has been a great supporter of our Club for as long as anyone can care to remember. It plays a very important role on Good Friday being our “headquarters” for the wheel barrow push. Again they looked after us with a delicious meal
After dinner we moved on to the Rosebud Fire Station to conduct our Annual Meeting. We thank the CFA for allowing us to use their meeting room. The local fire brigades are fantastic supporters of our Club. Our President, Susy, was in full flight thanking all those that have assisted our Club over the previous year. Her thoroughness ensured that no one was forgotten. It was a great meeting. Nearing the conclusion of the meeting we heard from State Committee member Daryl Gates and he then conducted elections for all honorary positions. Most notably:

Upcoming events include;
1. The Gippsland Regional Zone Meeting will be conducted on Sunday 14th November. Firstly at the Hastings Mariner for lunch at 12.00 midday followed by our meeting at 2.00pm at The Hastings Senior Citizens Clubrooms, Herring St Hastings. All welcome
2. Our Annual Christmas Raffle commences on the 26th November to be drawn on 18th DECEMBER
Congratulations to all the members of our Club for another productive year. The wheelbarrow push was another record. It is great to know that such a small group of people can make such a difference. Well done! Indeed congratulations to all Uncle Bobs throughout Victoria. A job well done by everyone!
All of us can look forward to another great year and best of luck to our newly elected office bearers.
