NATHALIA BRANCH
We have survived Good Friday once again with an undermanned, but brilliant group effort. Unfortunately due to other town events on the day, our tin shakers were depleted, but a fantastic team of new and old faces gathered together to collect what they could. We door knocked, visited sporting events, sold raffle tickets and accepted donations where we could and managed to reach $20,755.50, which was just up from last year (thanks to a last minute push from our determined team!) Our raffle was drawn and won by some grateful supporters, and a fun day was had by all. Then, no rest for the wicked as we were up again the next day to make the most of the Nathalia Bush Bash and sell some of the beautiful locally donated fruit to the towns folk and visitors. Well done to all those who supported the cause in any way shape or form, and here’s cheers to all our members and guests who worked to make the day so much fun and such a big success once again. Well done to all the UBC groups.
