TO RAISE FUNDS TO HELP SICK CHILDREN IN VICTORIA . . . . HERE’S HOW TO GET INVOLVED.
The UNCLE BOBS CLUB presently receives no Government funding to assist in it’s fundraising efforts, so we rely totally on the generosity of the public and the willingness of our dedicated unpaid volunteers.
Therefore, we are very much appreciative of any contribution from supporters in the community who wish to offer their time, funds, services, products or business skills. Please contact our friendly staff at Head Office or simply make a donation on the UBC Donation Form provided.
GET INVOLVED AS A MEMBER OF A UBC BRANCH OR GROUP :
Adults and children who become subscribing members of the Uncle Bobs Club can register as a member of a Branch or Group and join in with any local social events or assist with fundraising activities. It’s easy to join, just complete the UBC Membership Application Form.
SUPPORT THE UBC AS A COMPANY MEMBER :
Commercial organisations and community groups can also assist by subscribing as a Company Member. The annual subscription entitles the Company Member to a very distinctive plaque to recognise their valuable contribution and on payment of the yearly fee, a gold star is supplied to fix onto the Company Member plaque. Contact UBC Head Office for more details or complete a UBC Membership Application Form.
CONSIDER MAKING A BEQUEST or IN MEMORIAL GIFT TO THE UBC :
A will is one of the most important but necessary documents we will ever create. Often a person has a desire to help others outside of immediate family. This can take the form of cash, shares, property or other assets. An In Memorial gift to the UBC can also assist in making life easier for others in need of specialist attention. The UBC Head Office will be pleased to send you a Bequest Form on request.
PROVIDE A SERVICE OR PRODUCT :
Certainly monetary donations are most appreciated but you may choose to offer your support in other ways. Products may be used for a variety of purposes i.e. raffles / stalls etc. and we’re often in need of specialist services for a variety of projects, special events. Contact UBC Head Office to register your support.
BECOME AN ACTIVE VOLUNTEER SUPPORTER :
All of our supporters are unpaid volunteers. They not only have a lot of fun but enjoy a real sense of satisfaction in helping to raise much need funds or assisting with other UBC projects. Contact UBC Head Office for more details on how to register on our volunteer register.
FUNDRAISING PRODUCTS :
The Uncle Bobs club has a limited range of fundraising products available for purchase and the proceeds from the sale of these products go towards our General Funds.
FORM OF BEQUEST
A will is one of the most important documents we will create and is necessary so that loved ones left behind are not forgotten. Often a person also has a desire to help others outside the immediate family. A gift to charity can assist in making life easier for those in need of specialist attention.
When making or altering your will, please remember the constant needs of the Uncle Bobs Club and its endeavours to help the sick and disabled children of Victoria.
For assistance, it is suggested that the following form of bequest may be included in your will.
