Bellarine Group are pleased to report that we have had our best result for a Christmas Hamper, raising $503.00.
Many thanks to Drysdale Village Hardware, the Vacuum Shop and our two intrepid ticket sellers, Noel and Shirley Lindsay, who sat outside the local Safeway store over a couple of days before Christmas.
Noel and Shirley of course know everyone on the Peninsula and its pretty hard to get past them if you are going shopping. Thank you everyone who helped.
Thank you also to the Wallington Mitre10 store and Drysdale Village Hardware for continuing with the Collections for the Good Friday Appeal..
Our Vice President, Chris Shultz looks after clearing the containers and we are always surprised at the great results we get from these collections.
We are now looking forward to the Easter Eggs and all the activities leading up to Good Friday.
While we don’t do any local collections on the day, some of our members are in Melbourne on the day and others help with the very successful Seafood Festival held at Queenscliffe each year for the Appeal.
